PRACTICE STEP-BY-STEP ORGANIZATION OF PRACTICE
- Before the internship, the student must learn how to do the work and sign a form saying that they understand it (see Appendix 1).
- The student must have a current medical examination to confirm that they can do the internship. Get a referral for the medical examination from the Faculty Dean's Office.
- The student must have personal accident and liability insurance for the duration of the internship.
- Students choose their own internship location based on the guidelines in the Framework Programme of the Internship (Appendix 2). In some cases, the Vice-Dean for Teaching and Student Affairs (PDS) may suggest a place for the internship.
- Students apply independently to the selected Institution for admission to the internship. To do this, they fill in the Internship Application (Appendix 3), and obtain the approval of PDS or their thesis supervisor for the location and proposed dates of the internship.
- The criteria for the approval of the institution accepting the internship are: the profile of the activity is consistent with the student's field of study.
- The application for the work placement, together with the work placement plan (Appendix 4), must be submitted to the PDS or the student's thesis supervisor by the 30th of April of current year.
- In order to prepare the agreement between the University and the institution hosting the internship (Appendix 5), the student has to fill in a questionnaire and submit it to the PDS for signature by an authorized person.
- Upon receipt of the signed agreement, the student must obtain the signature of the person representing the hosting institution. He/she shall leave one copy at the company and bring the other copy with the other documents to the credit check.

EXECUTION OF THE INTERNSHIP
- The student is obliged to wear the protective clothing required by the unit where he/she is doing his/her internship.
- The student is obliged to comply with the rules of discipline and the health and safety rules of the host entity. The student is fully responsible for any culpable damage caused at the place and time of the internship. If the student violates the order and discipline in force at the internship site, the host institution may request the University to dismiss the student from the internship.
- Throughout the internship period, the student shall keep a systematic and careful practice log (Appendix 6) in which he/she shall record the progress of the internship, including the date, number of hours, and description of the professional tasks and activities performed. The person representing the institution, i.e. the company's practice supervisor, shall confirm the student's entry by his signature.
- Upon completion of the work placement, the student shall submit all the pages of the work placement log to the company's work placement supervisor, who shall summarize the work placement and evaluate the student's conduct, giving an opinion on the student's participation and the skills acquired, which shall be confirmed by the supervisor's signature under his opinion.
- The student shall include in the final internship report (Appendix 7) a description of the professional tasks performed during the internship for the implementation of the framework internship program.
CREDIT FOR INTERNSHIP
- Upon completion of the internship, but no later than the end of the semester in which the student should complete the internship, the student shall submit a set of documents to the PDS or his/her supervisor and take an oral examination.
- As a result of the examination of the submitted documents and the achieved learning results, the student will receive a positive grade in the examination. On this basis, the grade will be entered into the USOS system.
- A student may apply for recognition of part or all of a work placement, without the need to complete it, on the basis of the learning outcomes achieved as a result of professional work, internship or other forms of professional activity. In such a procedure, the approval for the recognition of learning outcomes is given by the PDS, which evaluates the documents submitted by the student. This does not release the student from the obligation to pass the exam within the required time frame.
In order to receive credit for the work placement in such a mode, the student may apply for credit for the work placement by submitting an application for credit for the work placement together with the relevant document (Appendix 8).
